Hang in there... All things take time - unfortunately some things take more time than others - which is absolutely no help at this point, I know...

With regards to the book/s - perhaps try doing a news article or something here on dA. Perhaps that'll drum up some more interest & hopefully some sales... I'm not sure how school libraries work (or how they go about purchasing new books), but it might be worth approaching some primary schools & seeing if they'd be interested in buying a copy for their shelves. (Especially if you put emphasis on the fact that the book has good lessons for young kids in it - taking responsibility for things, being yourself, facing fears & love/strength in the family unit). School fetes might be an avenue too... Either that or perhaps some independant book stores... The only thing is that you'd really need to have the books on hand...

Sorry to hear that the job hasn't worked out the way you'd hoped... Having been stuck in a job that I hated for a good 7 years, I know the feeling of not wanting to go back. I guess at this point some money coming in is better than nothing, but what is the cost for that income...

Keep going with your writing. It may seem like an un-ending uphill struggle, but keep trying to approach publishers... There must be someone out there who will/can see the beauty of your words & give you a chance...

Hrm.. I'm not sure that I'm really being helpful here, but know that I understand where you're at... Life isn't easy & it's a shame that money pretty much controls what we can & can't do these days.

I hope your session with the life coach goes well & that you come away with some useful tips/idea & perhaps new focus. Considering how much they charge, they should provide a wealth of information for you.

I am sorry that life is being such a pain in the posterior at the moment. It always seems to do that when we least need it to be. I hope that everyone's good thoughts and wishes here will help to boost your spirits. The tide always turns, you just have to be patient and be ready for it. Usually when it does it is in a rush and a flood so I hope that is soon for you. I actually have your book on my wishlist for Christmas with my hubby so there is one sale for you most likely on the first of Nov when he starts shopping.
